What does the masterclass cover?
Across the one-day masterclass, businesses can expect to:
- Unlock the opportunities to work with a tech giant, Bosch
- Learn from industry professionals
- Tour the Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre labs
- Expand your professional circle and test ideas
- Attend a complimentary networking lunch
The Bosch Challenge:
We’ve partnered up with leading global technology and service provider, Bosch who’re looking to create a regional supply chain in the North West of England to work on elements of a piece of groundbreaking technology in development, an electrolyser stack.
This is a unique opportunity for businesses to tap into new markets and gain valuable access to the research and development expertise that comes with working with an industry leader such as Bosch.
The ask: to find small to medium sized businesses in Greater Manchester or the North West who can fulfil elements of the components of the electrolyser stack, and who can help build the first of its kind in the UK.
We are keen to hear from businesses who are involved in, but not limited to:
- Systems distribution – selling the completed system to customers, providing sales and bid tender support
- Packaging – including design assembly
- Process engineering – completion of the system design
We’re also looking for companies that are interested in being part of the components supply chain, specifically around:
- Power electronics
- Water purification
- Water tanks
- Gas buffer tanks
- Water / gas separators
- Heat exchangers
- Water polisher
- Circulation pumps
- Cooling / radiators
- Gas dryers
- Monitoring and systems control
From February, we’ll be hosting one-day masterclasses to discuss the Bosch Challenge in greater detail, as well as explore the potential of fuel cell technology.
If you think your business can work with Bosch to help complete their electrolyser stack, please submit your interest to join the masterclass and a member of the team will be in contact.
There is no cost to participate in the masterclass, however there is limited space for eligible businesses.
